With an installed power of 84kW, EMICA SOLAR has developed a new floating plant for the self-consumption of an agricultural farm in Seville. The installation, which floats on an irrigation reservoir  120 meters long and 60 meters wide, has a total of 152 panels of 555Wp divided into 2 islands.

Based on the trimaran concept designed by EMICA SOLAR, the plant generates clean energy which, among other things, is used to cover the consumption of the hydraulic pumps that irrigate the farm’s agricultural land.

This project is a clear reflection of the benefits of floating photovoltaics for the agricultural sector. Instead of occupying the agricultural production land itself, it makes use of a water body, optimizing space and reducing evaporation of the water mass.
